IP Filters

IP filter rules block network access for the corresponding area of LogScale, providing an additional layer of security by limiting access.

By creating IP filters, the filters can be used when configuring the security of different areas of LogScale, allowing you, for example, to create a specific group for API access, or client access. General IP filters exist to control overall access to the instance. See IP Filter.

Use named IP filters when setting up API tokens and Wall monitors & shared URLs to limit access. For example, an API token that provides user-management access to the system can be further restricted to only be accessed from a specific IP or network range.
