LogScale SaaS Upgrades

LogScale SaaS deployments are upgraded on a staggered release schedule, with individual clusters being upgraded up to twice each month, using the corresponding latest GA release at the time of the upgrade. For more information on releases, see Generally Available (GA) & Long Term Support (LTS) Releases.

During an upgrade, the LogScale instance may still be available, but when running a query may report an error:

  • query is blocked

  • The query has been blocked in LogScale by an administrator. The matched blocklist entry is: .*.

These indicate that an upgrade is in progress for the instance and the query should be retried later when the upgrade has completed.

Additionally, a message identifying the cluster as being upgraded may also be shown during the upgrade process.
