Summary

The addSharedClusterBucketTransfer() mutation initiates a transfer of shared cluster segment data to the currently configured bucket storage backend โ€” for example, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage. The transfer runs asynchronously. A true return value confirms the operation started successfully, not that it completed. This mutation takes no input arguments.

Use getStatusSharedClusterBucketTransfer() to monitor transfer progress after initiating it. Use removeSharedClusterBucketTransfer() to cancel a transfer that is in progress.

Syntax

graphql
addSharedClusterBucketTransfer(): Boolean!

This mutation takes no input arguments. It returns a non-null Boolean! value. A true response indicates the transfer was successfully initiated.

Returned Values

This mutation returns a non-null Boolean! value. true indicates the bucket transfer was successfully initiated. Because the transfer is asynchronous, a true response does not indicate the transfer has completed. Use getStatusSharedClusterBucketTransfer() to confirm the transfer completed.
