Summary

The addSubdomain() mutation adds a subdomain to the organization. If no primary subdomain exists, the new subdomain becomes the primary. If a primary subdomain already exists, the new subdomain becomes a secondary subdomain.

Syntax

   ): Organization!

The mutation takes a required input argument of type AddSubdomainInput, which contains the subdomain string to add. The mutation returns a non-null Organization! object. See the Input Parameters section for argument details.

The returned Organization object provides access to the organization's subdomain configuration, URLs, limits, and metadata. Request id and name to confirm the targeted organization. See the Returned Values section for the full field list.

Input Parameters

The input argument requires an AddSubdomainInput object containing the subdomain string to add. The subdomain value is required and must be unique within the organization.

Returned Values

The mutation returns the updated Organization! object. Request id and name to confirm the targeted organization. To verify the subdomain assignment, query the subdomain configuration fields available through the returned object. The following table lists all available fields:
