An administrative security feature in LogScale that prevents specific queries from executing based on defined patterns or exact matches. Organization owners can configure blocklist entries using regular expressions or exact string matching to block queries that may be resource-intensive, potentially malicious, or expose sensitive data. Blocklist entries can be applied organization-wide to affect all repositories including future ones, or targeted to specific repositories and views. When a user attempts to run a blocked query, LogScale immediately stops the query and displays a detailed error message identifying the matching blocklist pattern, helping users understand the restriction while providing administrators with control over query execution across their organization.
