Create an IP Filter

Creating a new IP filter involves defining a unique name and specifying the access control rules. Follow these steps to create a new IP filter:

  1. Click the user menu icon and select Organization Settings → IP filters.

  2. Click + Add new and enter a descriptive name for the filter (such as, "Internal Network Access" or "API Restricted Access").

  3. In the IP filter rules text box, enter the appropriate filter rules. Refer to IP Filter Rules for complete rule syntax and formatting guidelines.

  4. Once you have configured the IP filter name and rules, click Create to save the new filter.

The newly created IP filter becomes available immediately for use in other system configurations, including API tokens, alerts, saved searches, and other security-related assets. IP filters can also be created directly when configuring these other system components.
