End User Functionality

A good test of your deployment is to make sure end user functionality is working.

Test authentication:

  1. Test that users can log in.
  2. Check users have the correct LogScale Role assigned.

Test querying functionality:

  1. Perform an interactive search over different time periods, such as 1 day, 30 days, entire length of the repo retention setting, and so on.
  2. Perform multiple concurrent queries by multiple users at the same time.

Create some Actions:

  1. Create an Email Action.
  2. Create a Webhook Action.

Create alerts to test your automation:

  1. Create an alert to test the Webhook automation.
  2. Create an alert to test the Email automation workflow.
  3. Create an alert to test the Webhook automation workflow.
  4. Create scheduled search to test any other automation actions.
