Deployment Methods

Falcon LogScale is available using two primary deployment methods, Falcon LogScale Cloud or Falcon LogScale Self-Hosted:

  • Falcon LogScale Cloud requires no installation, with the service deployed within a private, secure SaaS solution. The Hosted service is automatically upgraded to the latest version of Falcon LogScale and enables you to ingest data from your servers into a secure data repository.

  • Falcon LogScale Self-Hosted installation enables you to deploy Falcon LogScale on your own infrastructure. A Self-Hosted install can be completed on bare metal, virtual instances, or a variety of different container-based deployments using Kubernetes. Self-Hosted installation can be to a single node or multiple nodes within a cluster.

For all installations, your Falcon LogScale deployment is managed through a web-based interface. The web interface can be used to monitor all of your Falcon LogScale servers, query your data, create dashboards and views, and configure alerts for your incoming data. See LogScale Web Interface for an overview of the Falcon LogScale web interface.
