How Watch Notifications Work
The notification system works as follows:
When you watch a page, the system records the page's current update date
Each time you load any page in the documentation, the system checks if any of your watched pages have been updated
If a watched page has a newer update date than the last time you checked, a notification is created
Notifications remain until you click on them to visit the page or dismiss them manually
Watched pages and notifications are stored in your browser's local storage and are specific to the device and browser you use
