The Section Time Selector feature sets a common time range for multiple dashboard widgets grouped within a section, eliminating the need for individual widget-level time settings. When enabled through the Section configuration panel, this time selector operates independently unless the Shared Time mode is activated, at which point all widgets follow the global time selection instead.

To organize information on the dashboards, you can create Dashboard Sections to group multiple widgets and parameters together. A section can also have a time selector for setting a common data range for multiple widgets at the same time.

The section time selector can be enabled by ticking the Time selector checkbox in the Section configuration panel (see Figure 129, “Section Configuration”) and it's visible when the Shared Time toggle is set to off.
