Planning to install LogScale
When running LogScale self-hosted, there are a number of different methods and considerations to take into account. For background on how LogScale is typically deployed, see LogScale Physical Architecture.
The main decision you need to make is whether to use containers or not. Using containers is the recommended approach to enable ease of scaling and maintenance of your installation. If using containers it is recommened you use Humio Operator to install LogScale on Kubernetes.
When using containers, the following reference platforms are available:
Kubernetes reference platform - this demonstrates installing LogScale into Kubernetes.
AWS reference platform - this demonstrates installing LogScale into Kubernetes on AWS.
In addition, AWS automations are also available.
Refer to this documentation if you are planning to deploy LogScale using containers.

Refer to this documentation if you are planning to deploy LogScale without containers.
