Humio is pleased to offer a comprehensive training program related to Humio software, as well as key related software. These products includes training courses on installing, configuring, monitoring, and administering Humio software.
In this Training section, you’ll find information on upcoming training courses that are conducted by the staff at Humio, with some taught by the original developers. For those who prefer a self-paced training, we are creating a set of training videos to help you learn about Humio and related software. For those who learn best from reading, we also have many tutorial articles on the same topics.
At this point, you’ll find our tutorials group into two sections. They’re listed below; click on the heading of each to see the set of tutorials in which you’re interested:
This two-part, step-by-step tutorial contains several pages on how to create a repository in Humio and feed data into it. You can try the steps given with a free Humio Cloud account, using first sample data, then data from your server. It explains how to query server logs and metrics, and how to create a dashboard for monitoring your server.
This set of videos provides an introduction Humio and the base concepts of the product, ingestion and parsing of data, and how to effectively use the UI to search and extract information from logs.
This is a set of brief tutorials or explanations of key concepts and terms in Humio. You may want to read through these if you’re new to Humio. You can refer back to them later if you’re unclear about a particular concept.
This section doesn’t contain tutorials, but rather presents ways in which more savvy users of Humio have used it for monitoring their systems. It’s good to know where you’re heading with Humio. Plus, some of these may give you ideas of how to configure Humio for your organization.
