You can configure Humio to run with or without user authentication. Users are authenticated, logged in using one of the following integrations, but authorization and permissions are handled in Humio:
Authentication is disabled by default. In order to make first-time set up easy for new users, Humio defaults to running without authentication at all. This is not recommended for production environments.
Humio’s cloud service has per customer configurable authentication mechanism: Enterprise Login enabling administrators to configure a compatible Identitiy Provider compatible with the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for authentication. For users, this enables them to login to the Humio service using their enterprise login and authentication.
